Clovermead Apiaries and Adventure Farm 

Clovermead Adventure Farm is buzzing with a staff of 24 million bees that produce six different floral sources of honey, each with its own uniqueness. The Hiemstras’ enjoyment of bees and working outdoors has been shared through three generations of family beekeepers who started in the Netherlands. But do not be fooled, this is not your grandfather’s apiary—this is also an adventure farm! Farm animals, Ontario’s largest bee display hive, pedal carts, jumping pillow, playground, wagon rides, and food will keep you busy all day long!



Rush Creek Wines

Rush Creek Wines is owned and operated by Bonnie Preece. This award winning winery has proudly won three medals in the Finger Lakes Championship. In 2015, they received a silver medal for ‘Decadence’, a strawberry/chocolate flavour wine, which has been a customer favourite for some time. In March 2016, Rush Creek was delighted to win two bronze medals in the same competition for their ‘Bonnie's Blend’, and ‘Raspberry’ wines. 



Quai Du Vin Estate Winery 

Redi and son Roberto Quai first planted their vineyards just north of Sparta in 1972. Roberto and wife, Lisa, opened the doors of the winery in 1990.

Quai du Vin produces 90,000 bottles per year with the top sellers being their Vidal and Baco Noir. Winery tours are available with the length depending upon interest level, ranging from 30 - 60 minutes. Expanded tours that include food and wine pairings are also available by booking in advance.

Jamie Quai now adds to the winery’s legacy as the third generation to harvest and make wines on the fertile lands in Elgin. Jamie is expanding the development of the wine with barrel aging and introduction of new wines such as Viognier (well known in Europe) that are well suited for this climate.

Pinecroft Ceramic Art Studio and The Green Frog Tea Room 

Opened in 1948 by Jimmie Clennell and Selma Caverly, Pinecroft is considered to be Canada’s oldest continuously operating pottery studio. Tucked away in a 54 acre pine forest, this thriving family-run establishment has produced fine quality earthenware and stoneware pottery for 67 years. Second generation studio potter Brenda (Caverly) Smith offers a wide range of functional pieces including complete dinner sets. Classes and hands-on workshops are offered year round in the teaching studio.

Founded by Pat and Mary Muscat in 1992, Anything Used is located in the historic Village of Sparta in a general store built in 1838. The store features two floors of rooms full of unique home décor items, candle accessories, seasonal items and Sparta Country Candles. SpaLakewood rta Country Candles produces hundreds of candles a day. 





The Lakewood
