Aylmer Heritage Committee

The Aylmer Heritage Committee undertakes educational activities to increase public knowledge and appreciation of the benefits of heritage conservation. Members advise Council on current heritage legislation and assists COuncil in the preparation of municipal legislation to conserve properties of cultural heritage, value, or interest, issues relating to the conservation of heritage architechure and items of historical significance, establishs criteria for the evaluation of properties of cultureal heritage value or interest, and maintains a list of properties and areas of cultural hertiage value or interest.http://www.aylmer.ca/index.php/ClerksOffice/AylmerHeritageCommittee
